Vinod is a specialist in innovation, strategy, and future-proofing with 10+ years experience in leading teams and developing platforms, products and experiments in philanthropic, not-for-profit, private, and cross-sector contexts. Trained as an aerospace engineer, with demonstrated experience as an entrepreneur, Vinod combines solid knowledge in innovation thinking and practice, an outcomes-oriented mindset, with entrepreneurial energy, agility, and ability to thrive in ambiguity.

Vinod is Co-founder of Future of Good, a compelling platform that explores forces shaping how we do good in the 21st century. Vinod also works with leaders and organizations around the world to reimagine their innovation strategies, build innovation units, and develop innovation leadership. Vinod is a Fellow with Social Innovation Generation (SiG) working to initiate conditions to strengthen embedded R&D capacity in non-profits. 

Vinod was Co-founder and Executive Director of Impact Hub Ottawa, the largest multi-sector collaborative innovation centre in Canada's capital. He also recently oversaw innovative strategy and business model development as the founding Managing Director of Rideau Hall Foundation, a unique Canadian institution, chaired by Governor General David Johnston which helps to catalyze and align ideas, people and resources to move the Canadian spirit forward. 

Vinod is on the Advisory Board to The MATCH International Women’s Fund. He was designated as a Global Shaper by the World Economic Forum, is a member of the Banff Forum community, and is a recipient of The Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal for his contribution to Canada. 

Vinod has been a regular commentator in the media, an invited speaker to conferences in Canada and around the world on foresight, innovation, future of philanthropy, corporate social responsibility, and systems change.
